This was the last tour that featured an opening act. Starting with the Test For Echo tour in 1996, Rush would move to the “evening with” format. I have to say that Primus did not really go over well with the Rush crowd. I remember being amazed at how quiet the Arena was between songs. I guess that is better than getting booed off stage, ha ha. This was also the last show that I attended at the old St. Louis Arena. It was a great old barn. I saw many hockey games there and quite a few good shows as well.

This was just another excellent Rush show. There were no real surprises in the set list, but it was great to see The Analog Kid again. I don't think that they have played it since this tour. I definitely wish they would bring it back next year. Hearing part of Hemispheres was also really cool. The Counterparts material sounded good live. It sounded heavier live than it is on the CD. Double Agent was probably my favorite among the Counterparts songs played. Mystic Rhythms and The Trees were the other highlights of the show for me.

oh Mystic Rhythms and Xanadu, you were such an amazing song to hear live back in 2004. would LOVE to hear Hemispheres Prelude done. would be even more happy if they did Armaggedon live again but i doubt that will happen

This tour came to my town around the time that I was getting heavily into Rush. Unfortunately, I missed the show because I was only 15 at the time and didn't have the money for it I wouldn't see them for the first time until the next tour.

When they played Buffalo that year, a friend of mine went, Candlebox opened for them. What the hell happened to those guys?

I would've loved to have seen this set. I heard Double Agent was awesome live. I have a good quality boot, as most Rush boots are, from this tour and that's as close as i'll ever get to seeing this tour unless time travel is perfected in my lifetime

Analog Kid will be back. Rush doesn't have that filmed live yet on any of their live video releases as far as I know. They've said in interviews that want to get most of their catalog documented on film if possible. I don't rule much of anything out from 1980 to present making it into the set.

The 70s stuff, that's another story. There's just too many songs Geddy wouldn't be able to sing now.
