Big Four U.S. in the works?

Just got the new issue of Revolver and there's an interview with Kerry King and Dave Mustaine:

Jon Wiederhorn: "Will the Big Four tour be coming to the United States?"

Kerry King: "That's the first thing I said to James when I saw him. I went 'Dude, if this goes well, there's no reason to gyp the rest of the world.Everybody else wants to see this show too.'"

Dave Mustaine: "All of our camps have talked, and Lars flat out said to me that he wants this to keep going. He talked about it going on next year. And our agents say there is talk about this happening in the States in 2012. So everyone's talking about it now. It's just a matter of making it happen."

We'll see what happens won't we?

2012 might be too far off. I can see them cashing in on the success of the European gigs by doing this next summer. Screw waiting for the bands to record new shit or whatever. This is a nostalgia tour plain and simple and doesn't need much if any new stuff from the bands in their sets.

Well it might not even be about releasing a new album. These four bands are under contracts and they do have other obligations and putting a tour this massive together in one year during a recession and with dwindling ticket sales (as far as Live Nation goes) 2012 seems reasonable.

Seriously, the next person that posts a new thread here about this that isn't a conformation is getting babypasted.
