I thought Dave sounded great, honestly. It was my third time seeing Megadeth and it's the best I've ever heard them sound.

Slayer was kinda boring, IMO, except for the last three (especially SoH) and War Ensemble, Expendable Youth, Temptation and Skeletons of Society.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but a hardcore Slayer fan would probably love most of their catalog? I think you're mistaking "hardcore Slayer fan" for a "hardcore thrash fan." Many thrashers don't even like Slayer. Those that do and still remain to be "tr00" in that genre usually just like the first two, sometimes Reign in Blood as well.

I think their first five albums are their finest run. South of Heaven and Seasons are classics, you'd be crazy to discredit those.

Agree with you on the casual fan point, that's exactly right.

...Anyways, about this setlist. You've all read my points before. It's great that they're doing Seasons in its entirety, but the rest of the set is lacking. Three staples and two new songs? Please.

Also, I already saw them do Seasons in Italy this summer (just my luck), so I just don't want to see the exact same set minus a few songs.

Don't get me wrong though, I still think it's a lazy set even if I am mad about seeming the same thing all over again.

I hope that Slayer headlines after Megadeth down here in Orlando. I really DON'T wanna see Slayer. After falling asleep (I literally did... no joke) during their set last time I saw them, I never want to see them again. They are so boring, and sound horrible. Sorry, they just are not so good, I don't see why they are still around when Tom can barely stand.

That really wasn't a very extensive tour. It didn't even hit any real major markets.

I guess I could somewhat understand why you would be bored by just watching them, but if you go in the pit for them it is really so much fucking fun. That is, of course, if you have GA tickets.

great show, pissed i couldn't get pit though. and mustaine's vocals were really crappy in the beginning, and they weren't perfect the whole time. but goddamn they still kick fucking ass

Yeah Megadeth was on another world last night.
Absolutely killed it.

And What a crowd! I was so very proud of my Metal brothers. Singing along. Major pit action the whole time. Mustane even commented "that was awesome" during Peace sells when crowd sings "If there's a new way..."

And it was simply awesome last night.
Cant wait for nassau. Got floor for that one.
I'm 40 now but i'm going upfront.

What a summer here in NYC. Maiden (twice)!!
This week alone I had Asia (tues), night ranger (wed) and Carnage (last night), with Kiss, Rush and more coming up!
I'll never live in the south again! My wife can forget it!
