Fantastic set, dying to see video from this. I wish they had done Beyond the Wheel but I get them not wanting to do that often cause of the extreme toll it must take on Chris's vocal chords that while in much better shape are lets face it, not what they were in the early 90s.

you and me both Elvenking!! As much as this et kicks the shit out of almost everything out there... I couldn't stand the whole festival crowd. Did that in 92 at Alpine for Lolla.

I wonder if you can even get beer there? I've always stayed away from it since it moved to Chicago. The only time I wanted to go, was when Billy Idol played the first year. Somehow he got a really shitty timeslot at like 4:30 pm, so I was on my way to Metal Haven, Pulled over somewhere off of michigan Ave and just stood outside the place and listend to a few songs. Yeap, thats my Lollapalozza expierice. Also saved 250 bucks.

Awesome set. Only main songs missing that I can think of is Hands All Over and Loud Love.

And Beyond the Wheel of course, but yea Loud Love is another one. Hands All Over is good but thats not one that they have ALWAYS done, so I wasn't that suprised. I heard some snippets today from a proshot video of them doing Burden in My Hand and Chris sounded really great. He still has some rasp on those top notes but the fact that he can hit them at all considering his technique and age are amazing. He doesn't employ falsetto for those high notes, its all mixed head voice which is very rough on the voice.
