If you had a time machine...

Inspired by Treghet on the other thread.

What band in what period of time would you want to see?

I agree with Dead and Mayhem.

I'd also like to have seen:

Strapping Young Lad before they broke up.
Slayer during anytime 83-early 90's, specifically around the Hell Awaits tour.
SLEEP!!!
Ozzy with Black Sabbath, and Randy/Early Zakk years
Celtic Frost
Testament
Suffocation in the 90's
Death any time, ever.
Pantera in the 90's
Carcass and At the Gates in the 90's

These are a couple just off the top of my head.

Another big one for me would be Metallica with Cliff. Dunno how I forgot that.

Listen to Chapel of Ghouls, then listen to something that came out after Domination. I don't even really like the albums after Altars, but after Domination it's really hard to enjoy for me.

Altars is great, but really I think it's all quality music. They did change their sound and styles alot though, and I see why people wouldn't like that. But music can't be good if you always have to compare it to something you think is better, right?

Yeah, I suppose. I'm just not a fan of their new sound.
