I wouldn't mind if that happened but i doubt Iommi wants to slip back into obscurity and play in front of only 100 people and sell less than a thousand albums anymore. Which is exactly what would happen with Tony Martin. I love their stuff with Martin but he is a nobody and has no universal appeal and zero charisma as a live singer.

Martin has said he was never gonna work with Iommi again after getting let go twice by him. But the way I see it is Martin can't get his solo band booked anywhere and is in need of a steady paycheck and if THE Tony Iommi asks you to join him you don't say "no". They wouldn't be able to call it Black Sabbath though because of the lawsuit bullshit.

I would prefer if Iommi tried to work with Jorn or Ripper Owens instead. Get someone new he hasn't worked with before and see what happens. Working with someone new has the potential for Iommi to do some different things and make something special.
