Every game does count, though. If you're on the bubble and you've lost to a couple of mediocre teams, you're probably staying home. It was quite an exciting season in 2008-09 with my team on the bubble all year, and ultimately making it in.

If every game truly counted, then the team couldn't have lost to a couple mediocre teams and still made the tourney.

A lot of teams don't, that's what I'm saying lol. It can't be like college football, there are too many games. Teams will lose. I think the system is pretty exciting...unlike the BCS.

Right, so this is why the regular season is somewhat meaningless. Just look at the ratings that regular season College Basketball does compared to March Madness. I'm completely the opposite I think College Football is great, though it would be nice if there was at least one more game some years or a small playoff like the NFL.

I love college football more than any other sport besides hockey, but I hate the BCS like crazy. I would never say college basketball is better than college football, I'm just saying the system they have is much closer to perfect.

I definitely like the tourney for College Basketball. The BCS has it's good and bad moments. Every game counts and if you lose one typically you kiss your chances of a title good bye. Good when there are no disputes on the BCS bowl games. Bad when there are multiple teams that go undefeated it can be a huge mess.

I agree with the first part. They got VERY lucky last year, even though I think some of the BCS bowl matchups were ill-advised.

The second part.....I thought so lol.

Thank god this is all they did. I've never understood the thought behind expanding the tourney to a huge amount of teams, except for money of course (which still doesn't really explain why some coaches still want it to happen). The NCAA basketball tournament is one of the greatest events in sports for a reason, don't fuckin ruin please.

That being said, I can't wait for college football season
