If you had Tyrant after YGATC, that would be just about perfect.

I would rather see a less structured approach to setlists. Get the band to learn about 40 songs and rotate randomly. Some songs will always be played, others, it depends on what night you go.

So, always played -

Breaking The Law
Hellion/Electric Eye
You've Got Another Thing Comin'
Living After Midnight
Hell Bent For Leather

Played more often than not -

Victim Of Changes
Beyond The Realms Of Death
Metal Gods
The Sentinel
The Ripper
Painkiller
The Green Manalishi

Not played every night -

A Touch Of Evil
Between The Hammer & The Anvil
Nightcrawler
Hellrider
Judas Rising
The Prophecy
Visions
Subterfuge
Ram It Down
Heavy Metal
Turbo Lover
Freewheel Burning
Nostrodamus (rotate with Painkiller)
Sinner (rotate with Victim Of Changes)
Jawbreaker
Riding On The Wind
Fever (rotate with Beyond...)
Desert Plains
Heading Out To The Highway
Solar Angels
Grinder
United
Delivering The Goods
Running Wild
Exciter
Stained Class
Diamonds And Rust
Dissident Aggressor
Tyrant

Once in a blue moon, it'd be nice to see the band bust out something really obscure like Here Come The Tears or One For The Road....

It may be a pipe dream but it's my pipe dream!!

Imagine them playing 2 nights at your town and getting this -

1. Hellion/Electric Eye
2. Metal Gods
3. Nightcrawler
4. Judas Rising
5. Breaking The Law
6. Desert Plains
7. The Ripper
8. Beyond The Realms Of Death
9. The Sentinel
10. Visions
11. Ram It Down
12. Stained Class
13. Turbo Lover
14. The Sinner
15. Painkiller
---------------------
16. Living After Midnight
17. You've Got another Thing Comin'
---------------------
18. Hell Bent For Leather

Then this -

1. Hell Bent For Leather
2. Delivering The Goods
3. Heading Out To The Highway
4. A Touch Of Evil
5. Breaking The Law
6. The Prophecy
7. The Ripper
8. Fever
9. The Sentinel
10. Between The Hammer & The Anvil
11. Heavy Metal
12. Diamonds And Rust
13. Hellion/Electric Eye
14. Victim Of Changes
15. The Green Manalishi
---------------------------
16. Living After Midnight
17. Tyrant
---------------------------
18. You've Got Another Thing Comin'

Long post I know, but imagine!!!!

^^

Do you honestly expect bands to play for as long as you make every one of your dream setlists out to be? I mean I know the song-selection can be as unrealistic as you like, but every set I ever see you design would be easily 3 hours long.

I don't know what to take out of my long setlist to make the people of metal setlists happy. I have everything priest would do. Songs people know and rare songs not alot of people know.
