You are the only person to ever say that.

My age estimates tend to be pretty amusing too. No points for anyone here because I've stated my age previously, but the funniest one was about five/six years ago when one of the kids in one of my classes guessed at 45. Got to love the naivity 11 year olds. There's their age, "top years" (as in final year pupils, that would be 16 here), and "old"

I sympathize with the age confusion, although mine's in the other direction. I've been 20-22 since I was 18, and I'm 27 now

Perhaps it's because of my amazing abilities to accessorize

Mine's almost always older. But that's normally because people I work with who have seen my CV (resume to you) think I must be older than I am. Within the context of London my employment history looks pretty good, and that's not including 2.5 years as a teacher, so everyone assumes I must be in my 30s at least, which of course I'm not. It's a slightly false positive, because I've actually only ever spent 2.5 years max in any one place, but even so, the collective experience and the names of the employers seems to carry more weight than I thought it would. Win for me, I guess!

45 was funny though. I was 22 at the time And didn't even have a beard at that point.

Well because you look so old there's no hope in seducing college freshman co-eds.
