Dark Tranquillity -- Philadelphia, PA -- May 13th, 2010
At The Point of Ignition
The Fatalist Focus Shift The Wonders At Your Feet ThereIn Final Resistance The Grandest Accusation Misery's Crown Punish My Heaven Iridium Shadow In Our Blood The Lesser Faith Dream Oblivion Lost To Apathy Terminus (Where Death Is Most Alive) I was disappointed seeing this set a few days ago, but dark tranquillity never disappoints live. The new songs are sooo much better live than on the album, and sound a ton heavier. The fatalist and grandest accusation are perfect live, and shadow in our blood (which i don't really like) was one of the best songs of the night. Only complaint was having punish my heaven in between the two slowest songs of the night, and of course only 1 song from character and damage done. Also mutiny within was horrible, and I thank the sound guy for making everyones eardrums bleed for most of their set with the insane screeching mic. |

What the hell, seems like there's a good chance Edenspring, Lethe, and My Negation aren't going to be played at all this tour

I have never seen Hypocrisy before but DT slays live and I think they are touring with better bands than Hypocrisy. So I would defintley go with Dark Tranquillity.

Since this is only the second set, I'm not going to throw away any hopes of seeing Lethe or Edenspring. I'm just going to hope for Sunday.

Threat Signal and Mutiny Within versus Scar Symmetry and Hate? I beg to differ.

Edit: I have to add that it's really cool of them to do the aftershow meet and greets. They came right out within minutes of getting off the stage. No rock star bullshit from them, all really nice guys. |

I'd love to here Undo Control live, especially if they could get Nell Sigland to tour with them. She should have plenty of time on her hands once her band breaks up.
