No clue. It was CF, Exodus and Anthrax at the Bronco Bowl in December of 1987. I was not going to be denied. I was a huge CF fan at the time. Lied and told my brother I had a ride home so he'd take me. Not fun calling my dad to come pick me up after the show. Totally worth it though.

I remember reading in recent years that that was the last show of the tour and they broke up right after. Then came the infamous Cold Lake album/line-up.

I've never seen people complain about similar threads like they do around here. Jesus, do people realize what it's like to be on virtually any board that's actually ACTIVE? Two topics with similar but different concepts existing at the same time is not a crime. Especially since around here threads tend to turn from their original intent and either into extended side-discussion or off-topic stuff after about 4 pages.

I would totally understand your point if the board was so busy it was difficult to keep up with and we wanted to minimize confusion - but as it is, who cares?

DAMN YOU!!! UNFAIR!

I have longed to see Evergrey at all for so fucking long at this point, I even had tickets to travel 160 miles round-trip to see them but it got canceled. I was actually just talking tonight about how I'd really love to see them do an acoustic show, because I think they do a brilliant job with acoustic adaptations of their songs.

I remember seeing them open for Iced Earth at the Troc not that long ago - 2004 maybe?

Yes! I was there! Evergrey, Children of Bodom and Iced Earth!

Oh and to answer your other question I somehow missed, yes, the Sentenced show at the Troc was in 2002! Sept 25th 2002 to be exact.

I saw that tour in Dallas. I think it may have been earlier than '04. It was IE, evergrey and children of bodom. I remember the singer for COB kept spitting on the stage.

1. After Forever, only a few months before they went on hiatus & then broke up.
2. At the Gates
3. Pagan's Mind
4. Decapitated, pre-accident with Vitek & Covan.
5. Heaven and Hell
6. Saint Vitus
7. Amon Amarth in 2007 (First headlining tour, and still the best setlist they've done in the States)
8. Freak Kitchen
9. Ministry
10. Strapping Young Lad (SYL gets the nod over the Devin Townsend Band because Devy plays some DTB material live.)

Super unbelievably jealous of The Green and Black for having seen Sentenced. What makes it worse is that I just looked up the tourdates, and that tour hit PROVIDENCE. Sentenced were ten minutes from my house, and I didn't know who they were at the time
