How was the sound? I've been to Hell a few times but never for a DM show. I wanted to go but I had to work early and had already caught the show in Hartford last month. They closed with Impure up there but I'm not entirely sure on the rest of the order of the songs.

Please tell me God Dethroned performed better than they did at the Palladium

@DigMySpanky - sound was great, actually. Could hear everything. The vocals could have been a little louder, but that was really the only problem.

@Chyck - Much better than what you described. GD aren't really a jump around and go apeshit type of band on stage to begin with, but they looked like they were enjoying themselves up there. Soooo good.

Wish the GD set had been switched up a bit more since the last time I saw them, but it was nice to see Soul Sweeper and Boiling Blood since I'd never seen either. The title track off of Passiondale would have been cool though, or The Serpent King.

so was this a show after the overkill tour? cuz if Vader headlined thats a short ass set, but then again thier last headlining tour was somewhat pathetic too

Overkill just announced the second run of there tour and has a date at this venue, how was this venue

I personally really like it, it's one of my favorite venues to see shows at. I'm a little biased because it's only ten minutes from my house, but it's a good place. It's small and intimate, sort of hole-in-the-wall-ish (the stage is maybe a foot off the floor, if that), but from the few times I've been there they've had pretty good sound.
