What? Honest question. Besides Texas, and maybe New York, you're all just "Americans" to us. Seriously, the differences in States over there are largely unknown here.

It'd be like asking you what the difference is between people from Essex and people from Yorkshire. Or Norfolk. Or West Midlands.

We in America like to pretend that all our states are different, and to some extent they are. People in Indiana are rednecks, racists, and morons. People in parts of Ohio are also those things, but we also have big cities, Lebron James, and some other cool stuff.

Yeah, to say there aren't differences in regions here is insane. Granted some are minor and trivial from state-to-state, if distinguishable at all - but sometimes 100 miles or less can make a world of difference.
