Hammerfall -- Mesa, AZ -- April 1st, 2010

It was a great show put on by Hammerfall. No Echoes of Eternity, they dropped from the bill months ago but didn't remove it from their Web site so people thought they would still be there. I feel sorry for their fans. Anyway, here is the set list, one short of most other shows. The crowd was maybe 100, the club was called UB's.

Punish and Enslave
Crimson Thunder
Renegade
Hallowed by My Name
Last Man Standing
Blood Bound
Something for the Ages
Heeding the Call
Rebel Inside
The Dragon Lies Bleeding
Any Means Necessary
Life is Now
Riders of the Storm
ENCORE:
Secrets
Let the Hammer Fall
Hearts on Fire

I decided against going to this show for several reasons, but I did wear my Bloodbound shirt to the premiere of Clash of the Titans in their honor

Yeah the attendance was weak, but Hammerfall played as if it were 1,000. True professionals.
The club is your basic dive, one side of it is restricted for the 21 and over crowd with a bar, the other is basically floor space with a few booths. I'll be back there this weekend for Sonata Arctica, which I expect to draw way more than the Hammerfall did.
