This is how I would rate Pantera's albums from best to worst

Vulgar Display of Power (by a slim margin)
Cowboys From Hell (by a slim margin)
Far Beyond Driven
Great Southwestern Treadkill
Reinventing the Steel (by this time I stopped caring about Pantera)

Why does everyone seem to forgert the first few Pantera albums. Power Metal is an awesome album.

I don't dig that vocal style myself but you really don't have to keep on mentioning that you don't like it. This is why people make fun of you all the time here. You keep saying the same stuff like this and it gets annoying and you open yourself up to getting flamed.

While I don't like the growling or screaming it does take some talent to do it right. Most growlers have to at least learn the basics on how to do it so they don't fuck up their voice. The same thing melodic singers do. They may not have the vocal training or range of a Dickinson, Halford or Dio but they still gotta put some effort in to it in order to pull it off at all.

Part of the problem is they haven't been available to buy since the dinosaur age.

Yeah, if they remastered the four of them as two on each disc (possible, they're short enough), and rereleased them, I think a lot more people would respect, or at least be aware of them.

They were re-released as a four disc set a while back, but, due to the fact that neither Atco nor Time Warner owned them or the rights to them it was still a fairly limited release. You can get them off Ebay quite easily, its what I did, bout 10-15 bucks a pop!

Balls to the Wall is Accept's best album. (though it does have gay songs like Turn me On and that album cover is fucking awful)

Thank you. I never really understood all the praise for their sloppy death metal phase.

Not to mention all the people who say something along the lines of, "I would like SotS but it influenced METALCORE!" Get the fuck over yourself.
