Mercenary are fucking incredible. Though I guess it depends what you're into. For me it's like the melodeath answer to Evergrey, who are my 4th or 5th favorite band of all time. I think they use growling juxtaposed with melodic vocals in a great, emotional framework. I love them.

I can see the similarity to Evergrey, has a very similar vocal sweeping feel - reminds me a lot of In Search of Truth meets Tobias Sammet.

I have to admit, the track (The Hous That Remain) does pick up towards the end. This is rockin' stuff.
