Opeth -- London, England -- April 5th, 2010
Evolution XX Tour
Venue: Royal Albert Hall Set times: 19:30-20:45/21:05-22:50 The Leper Affinity Bleak Harvest The Drapery Falls Dirge for November The Funeral Portrait Patterns In The Ivy Blackwater Park ----------------------- Forest of October Advent April Ethereal The Moor Wreath Hope Leaves Reverie/Harlequin Forest The Lotus Eater Great show, as expected. No changes to the set from the other shows so far. Didn't get any of the special t-shirts because they all sucked. There were two specific to this show, three for the whole tour with dates, and a couple for the whole tour without dates. Also a hoodie, a workshirt, a poster and a programme all for the tour. Plus a few Opeth/Blackwater Park generic things.

Thanks for the merch update. Venue they played there is pretty neat looking from the pictures. They are going to be beat at the end of this tour, with how short the turnaround is between shows.

Oh, and almost forgot, whole show was filmed with six or so cameras for DVD.

There was nothing massively wrong with any of the shirts, they just weren't that special. From what I remember, the three tour date ones had a Blackwater Park front, a kind of band silhouette front (this one may have just had cities, not dates on the back), and something else pretty generic. There was one that was kinda cool, with a poster type front of the Evolution XX artwork (similar to the classic evolution of man image) and a kind of family tree on the back with all the members of Opeth to date. No dates or cities though.

I will too. I'll have been at two out of three of the DVD shows when this one comes out (I was at the Roundhouse Tapes show too). I'd have been at the first one too, but it was just before I got into Opeth and didn't see them live for the first time until the next tour.

Here are a couple of the super-generic Blackwater Park t-shirts that were on sale.

How much was the workshirt? I can totally go for one when they come to NY.

Easily the coolest of the tour shirts. But with no dates/cities I wasn't keen.
