Alice in Chains -- Mashantucket, CT -- March 6th, 2010

Venue: MGM Grand Casino

We started out around 2pm and arrived about an hour later. After drinks, dinner, walking around the place and giving $40 back to the Indians, we were ready. We did not make the opening act (whoever they were), but A.I.C. came on at around 9:15 pm. They played solidly for two hours. No support videos, just the band playing themselves. I liked the concept because it allows the audience to focus on the band and not be distracted by other props. They were dead on and did not miss a beat. William DuVall sounded great and just like Layne. You could not tell much of a difference. The band was really tight and for $40/tickets, you could not go wrong. The best band for the buck!!

1. All Secrets Known
2. It Ain't Like That
3. Again
4. Check My Brain
5. Them Bones
6. Dam That River
7. Rain When I Die
8. Your Decision
9. Got Me Wrong
10. We Die Young
11. A Looking In View
12. Nutshell
13. Lesson Learned
14. Acid Bubble
15. Love, Hate, Love
16. Would?

Encore:
17. No Excuses
18. Man In the Box
19. Rooster

I would have like to have heard Brother and/or Grind.... but heh, after 19 songs, how could you go wrong?? All in all, a great show!!!

I'd love it if that and Down In A Hole made it in every night. But there's no denying they're one of the best right now at playing longer sets and rotating songs every night. You can't really complain when a band does that

cool set. looking forward to seeing them tomorrow. I've never gotten to see Alice in Chains, so I really can't wait, even if it is without Layne. Nutshell is going to be great. Pissed I missed the last tour when they played the title track on the new album. Must have been great.
