With all due respect to Scorpions who i love and i think they totally rock, Winger has better musicians (technically speaking i stress) Reb Beach is a better (technical) guitar player than anybody who has played in Scorpions, Rod Morgenstain is a better (technical) drummer than any other Scorpions drummer, although James Kottak kicks ass big time, and Kip Winger is a better bass player than any Scorpions bass players. As for the voice, i'd say there's a tie, but that's completely arguable as Klaus Maine's voice is unique.

Winger is a very underrated band, listen to their best album "Pull", an amazing underrated piece of work which became victim of the grunge movement in the 90's.

I just wish i was in that concert back in 1988 ...

I am not so sure I would blame a few years of grunge for the failure of every fly by night one hit wonder to make the big time. I really doubt Winger would have been any more popular than they were at their peak.
