9 - Guns N Roses (Old GNR that is)
10 - Van Halen

and then the rest in no order

- Alice In Chains

- Dio (Solo stuff)
- Union
- Sammy Hagar (Solo stuff)

- Deep Purple
- AC/DC

Not too much Metal on that list.

Oh boy this will be a bit tough as I love many bands, I think my top 10 is pretty accurate, they rest changes all the time.

Depending on if those sort of collaborations counts or not, you could also kick Edguy and Nightwish off my list and put Elton John/Tim Rice/Hans Zimmer (The Lion King ) and Alan Menken/Howard Ashman (The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast) in my Top 10 somewhere.

I kind of dissagree with you on this one buddy. The perfect example of this for me is Metallica, if I juge them on how I like 'em now they would not even do my top 50 bands, but in all honestly I have to include them in my list because of these 4 first records that are sooo amazing and these 80's years where they were so dominant live & I used to love them so much back then. Sepultura is another good example of amazing music & love by me up until Max left & I didn't love em anymore that much without him.

2 Pink Floyd (another kind of mood but they are alone in that stoner department)
3 Slayer (talk about stay true to your roots I love their violence)
4 Children Of Bodom (the new young kings of metal with a lead man really carismatic & unique genre of death\thrash\melodic metal)
5 Amon Amarth (Viking Power !)
6 System Of A Down ( unique genre also I love them)
7 Black Sabbath (mainly the begining Ozzy years but also with Dio)
8 Metallica (they are there just for the amazing 1983-1990 era)
9 Venom
10 Offenbach (an old Quebec rock and roll band of the 80's)
11 Pantera (RIP Dime)
12 Led Zeppelin (RIP John)
13 Megadeth ( The guy has talent, no question about it)
14 Dio (I almost don't listen to him anymore too bad, I saw him 10 times solo)
15 Sepultura ( the Max albums)
16 Bruce Dickinson
17 Pearl Jam ( I got hook on them at the begining of the grunge style early 90's , saw them 5 or 6 times)
18 Accept
19 Bob Marley
20 Iced Earth ( up until Matt first left the band, they are horrible since then with the exeption of a few songs like Gettysburgh)

See, to me that makes it pretty clear cut. Neither are one of your favourite bands. Nine Metallica albums (not counting Garage Inc.)... you like four. 44% doesn't sound like Top 25 material to me.
