Epica -- Worcester, MA -- January 30th, 2010
Epica were one of the best sets I've seen. So awesome, glad I went.
Blackguard The Sword Scarlet to Snow Farewell (New Song) Allegiance This Round's On Me Threat Signal I don't have the slightest idea. Epica Same set as Philadelphia, except some songs being moved. Still no sign of Blank Infinity. Samadhi (Prelude) Resign to Surrender (A New Age Dawns, Part IV) Sensorium Unleashed Martyr of the Free Word Seif al Din (The Embrace That Smothers, Part VI) The Imperial March Quietus Tides of Time The Obsessive Devotion Design Your Universe (A New Age Dawns, Part VI) ---------------------------- Cry for the Moon (The Embrace That Smothers, Part IV) Sancta Terra Consign to Oblivion (A New Age Dawns, Part III) |

pretty cool. Looks like I'm not going, just too far a drive from where I'm at... it'd cost more in gas to get there than tickets would... ah well, glad to hear it was a good show.

Wasn't Burn To A Cinder in the European sets they we're doing? I think that song would rock really good live. It should be added back in. They're still putting some solid sets together regaurdless.
A question for anyone who's seen them so far this tour. How many people are showing up for the shows? I've never seen them live and they aren't playing in my area at all so I was just curious. |

Absolutely amazing show. I was NOT expecting it to be as packed as it was. So glad they're getting recognition.
@Sanitarium78: The venues in NYC, Montreal, and Worcester sold out -- I don't know what the max. capacities for each are, but I'm guessing quite a few people showed up, considering they barely drew 100-200 people per city on their last headlining tour. |

Yeah, Worcester was PACKED. I was surprised, I showed up 20 minutes after doors had opened and there was already barely any room on the floor. So, naturally, I ended up somehow getting through the crowd and being front and center.
I'm glad they're getting recognition as well. I was so surprised at the amount of people that were there. And, @Sanitarium78 - Yeah, I think Burn to a Cinder was on their European sets. It would be really cool live, but I like this list perfectly fine. Hope they come back soon. |

The venue in VA was saying that there were less than 100 tickets left a few days before the show, so I guess the turnout was quite good.

I also ran into Mark a few times after the show, and although he didn't give any specifics, he said that they'd be back.
