Warbringer -- Fredericksburg, VA -- November 2nd, 2009

Warbringer headlined a small show at the Golden Monkey Tattoo parlor, before beginning the Vader tour on Thursday. This was my 3rd time seeing Warbringer, and their longest set I've personally seen them play.

Living in a Whirlwind
Severed Reality
Beneath the Waves
Total War
Prey for Death
Abandoned by Time
Combat Shock

I was very pleased that they played Beneath the Waves, my friend and I had asked John Kevill (singer) to start playing that again, and he obviously listened to us.

Warbringer's playing was as fast and intense as ever, with the reinstated bassist playing everything perfectly. The small venue made the small crowd that much more fun, with some really brutal moshing happening near the end.

If they play AT LEAST two songs from Waking Into Nightmares that aren't Jackal, Living In A Whirlwind, or Severed Reality (since those are pretty much staples now), I will be VERY happy (e.g. Forgotten Dead, Abandoned By Time )

Edit: And Instruments of Torture would top it all off

Yeah, it was a tiny venue, and they threw the show together very last minute apparently.

No Crack? I would've thought that was a staple by now. I really hope they play it on the Vader tour, as I might go to that tomorrow.
