Guns N Roses -- Buffalo, NY -- July 25th, 1992
So I decided to go to Setlist.fm and see if they had the set lists for the first metal/rock show I ever atended and they did. This was the big co-headling stadium tour they did that summer. This happened just a couple of weeks before my 14th birthday and still remains my favorite show i've ever been to. My dad liked GNR so he was cool enough to take me and my brother to it
![]() Metallica: Creeping Death The Shortest Straw Harvester Of Sorrow Fade To Black Sad But True Wherever I May Roam Of Wolf And Man For Whom The Bell Tolls The Unforgiven Bass/Guitar Solo Welcome Home(Sanitarium) Master Of Puppets Seek & Destroy(with like a 15 minute sing a long it got a little boring) Whiplash Nothing Else Matters Am I Evil? Last Carees One Enter Sandman The source I got this from has Shortest Straw after the Unforgiven but both my brother and i know for a fact it was played second. Overall an excellent set and experience. I've seen Metallica 4 times since then and this is still my favorite show from them. Just an awesome performance the band was just at the top of their game at this time when it came to live shows. Guns N Roses: Nightrain Mr. Brownstone Live And Let Die Attitude(Mistfits cover) Bad Obsession Double Talkin' Jive Civil War Patience It's So Easy Welcome To The Jungle Drum Solo You Could Be Mine Slash's Guitar Solo The Godfather Theme November Rain Sweet Child O'Mine Knockin' On Heaven's Door Don't Cry Paradise City Awesome show from GNR as well. The same goes for them as it does for Metallica neither of these two bands could be beat at live performances at this time. Unfortunately not too long after this all of GNR's problems started and I never got to see them live again. Which is ashame becasue they had taken over the world at this point but Axl had to go nuts and let it slip away. Slash fucked up the begining to Sweet Child so Axl had him stop and he said "Slash Fucked Up" and then he got the crowd to say "You fucked up" to Slash it was kinda funny. Then they restarted the song. GNR didn't take the stage til at least over two hours after Metallica finished. The show ended around 2 A.M. You're not gonna see bands co-headline like this anymore and have both of them give the fans over 2 hours each. Faith No More opened but I couldn't find the set for this show. I remember they did Caffine, LOS, SYD, Midlife Crisis, Epic, We Care A Lot and that's all I can recall for sure. Sorry for the long thread. Thanks for reading about my first Rock N Roll experience

I saw the Montreal show on this tour, the one with Jaymz burning and Axl stupid act, when Metallica could still play good

Actually they played 4 songs off Kill 'Em All. Am I Evil? was originally on a lot of the copies of the album in the 80's and early 90's. I remember when I first got it on cassette Evil and Blitzkrieg were on it. To me those two songs are Kill Em All songs not Garage Inc. material. Don't remember why they later removed the two off of the printings of the album though.
