Queensryche -- Universal City, CA -- September 27th, 2009

01. The Whisper
02. Best I Can
03. The Thin Line
04. Home Again *
05. Walk In The Shadows
06. Jet City Woman
07. Empire
08. Silent Lucidity
09. Take Hold Of The Flame

* with Emily Tate

I didn't stay for Chickenfoot. I also had a Revolting Cocks ticket so I bailed right after Queensryche and got to the HOB 5 mins before RevCo went on.

They were openning for Chickenfoot that's why they only did 9 songs. Of course Queensryche openning for them is a whole other issue I don't even wanna get into.

That should have been a co-headliner.

It's cool that Ryche are ending the shows now with Take Hold of the Flame, in my very humble opinion that's their best song.

They play here every few weeks it seems. No one really wants to see them anymore. I only stopped in because I had a free ticket and saw the previous nights' setlists. I am a big RFO fan and after that they degenerate quickly from good but overrated to unlistenable.

I was still undecided what to do about my free RevCo ticket when as they were ending, I realized I had never heard a single note of Chickenfoot and didn't really want to. Ran out the door, down the hill, to the subway station to another bus and walked into the HOB about 5 mins before RevCo went on.

I went to 5 shows this weekend.
