Bob Catley was close to a collapse during the last songs before the encore, due to excessive heat. This looked really bad, especially during Vigilante where I thought "Oh my god he´s going to faint!". This led the band to cut the set, the first encore would have been Don´t wake the lion according to the setlist but instead they just ripped through a perfunctory version of Kingdom and then quickly left.

Shame for the bad boy was a gem, from the Hard Rain-album in the mid-90´s and it had never been aired live before. Nice!

All in all a good gig, pretty weird setlist excluding such hits has How far Jerusalem, Sacred hour and The spirit, but I´ve seen those songs so many times I´d really rather have this set with many new songs and the utterly astounding Hard Rain-track.

Opening act was swedish M.ILL.ION., but I wouldn´t have seen them live one more time even if they paid me.

Magnum are a fantastic and incredibly underrated band. I'd love for them to do a US tour. Huge shame Don't Wake the lion was cut though, that's an incredible song.
