too bad Pagan's Mind is not playing LA. from what i listened to sounded pretty fucking epic. any recommendations of what to listen to from them?

Everything. All four of their albums are excellent. Most people I know would say to start with Celestial Entrance, though, so start there.

Yeah for sure, beats manic dance compared to last time. I don't really think they could really top destiny though as an opener...maybe anthem of the world? but who knows when they will ever play that again.

As far as the opening acts go they're all local bands. My friends band Visionary are opening for them tonight. Problem is they have to sell a shit ton of tickets at fukkin $40 a pop. I'm sure they're going to be eating some of that cost but it's still worth it to them I would think.

Am I the only person who thinks Prog bands are gouging the living shit out of their fans? They know people will pay it and they're taking advantage. I just paid $12 to see Gojira and Burst who owned and these 2 bands are charging $40? How does that equate?

I don't think the MA date was $40, though, but I couldn't go, so I don't know for certain.
