Queensryche -- Sydney, Australia -- August 31st, 2009
I took this setlist off Dime and deleted all non-song entries. No idea if there was an encore or it was played straight thru.
At the Metro Neue Regel The Whisper The Killing Words Walk in the Shadows London Sliver Hundred Mile Stare At 30,000ft If I Were King Best I Can The Thin Line One And Only Della Brown Another Rainy Night (Without You) Jet City Woman Anybody Listening Empire

That's a cool set. Nice to see they're doing more off RFO this tour. I know they've played the stuff off Mindcrime to death but they still gotta include something off it in the set. Weren't they closing the sets earlier with Take Hold Of The Flame? Is there a reason it was dropped or can Tate just not hit that vocal range anymore?

There is no doubt that Tates voice isn't what it used to be. I can't believe they left out Silent Lucidity or The Lady Wore Black. I would love for Tate and Co. re-record The Warning and add all parts that the record co. made them cut out 25 years ago.

Not doing Silent Lucidity isn't that much of a surprise they seem to do that one on and off in recent years. Don't know if they're sick of it or just don't like playing but it needs to be in the set all the time. It's like seeing Metallica and they don't play One or MOP. I don't think The Lady Wore Black has been done in awhile. I could be wrong on that though. Geoff Tate's voice is still good though but doing stuff off the EP and Warning might be a stretch for him now.
