Motley Crue -- Camden, NJ -- July 19th, 2009
TNT
Dr. Feelgood Slice of your pie Rattlesnake Shake Kickstart my heart Without you SOS Sticky Sweet She goes down Dont got away mad Time for change Wild side Saints of Los Angeles Shout at the devil Live wire Home sweet home Girls girls girls Im pretty sure that was the exact order.. shout and live wire may have been switched around.. and im pretty sure there wasnt any other songs played but this is from memory. anyways the entire festival was typical, if you are into any of the opening bands you would probably enjoy them as usual. they had a second stage where bands played between the main stage bands setting up.. no one really worth mentioning, though i didnt watch any for more than a song each. Motleys stage set up is AWESOME!!! totally new design, actually 2. one for the dr. feelgood set and a completely different one for the rest. there seemed to be alot of sound problems during the first few songs, and alot of transitioning problems between props and songs... but then again it was the first night of the tour. over all id have to say Motley was great this time around... it was nice seeing some rare songs instead of the same old shit for the last 3 tours. ***there was no drum duel with tommy and the godsmack guys as it was heavily rumored*** |

That is probably the last (positive) memory I have of Godsmack. It was pretty amazing when I saw it w/ Metallica in '04.

holy shit i just noticed
so they played the whole dr. feelgood album??? it seems like alot of bands are doing this now for some reason (judas priest, aerosmith, now motley crue) it's pretty cool they're doing that but i'd rather see shout at the devil or too fast for love in it's entirety. i wasn't the biggest fan of dr. feelgood other than a handful of songs, but it'll be worth seeing. |

Not a bad Godsmack set for the time they had.
