I'm currently trying to convince my parents to let me fly to florida to see this. no luck so far

cool man .. mine too .. I would definitely rate Gojira in my top 10 favorite and LoG somewhere near as well. I'm trying to hit the Florida date too!! I'm asking around in the metclub for extra pit tickets before I book my flight. I ain't going that far to be in a fuckin seat

But really? Do you have any idea how much flying/driving and booking a hotel is?
You get to see Lamb of God in addition to the rest of the bands, probably with all slightly shorter sets for the two openers than you would in LA, and it's not like Lamb of God never comes around.
