Fair Warning -- Bloomington, IN -- May 31st, 2009

They started playing at Midnight, so I just chose today's date.

On Fire
Atomic Punk
Romeo Delight
Somebody Get Me A Doctor
Jamie's Crying
Feel Your Love Tonight
Dance The Night Away
Little Dreamer
Everybody Wants Some
Outta Love Again
Drum solo
Hot For Teacher
Panama
Ice Cream Man
Jump
I'll Wait
Running With The Devil
Guitar Solo
Mean Street
DOA
Bottoms Up
Unchained
===========

I'll add my two cents once I've gotten some sleep. But it was a very fun show!

Review: Holy shit! This tribute band does not fuck around! Like Zoso, they sound and dressed the act (complete with a bulge in spandex pants from "David Lee Roth" ). All musicians were competent but there was some sloppiness here and there (or it's just my inability to hear solo notes in a live venue).

"David Lee Roth" was the star of the show here. He actually does the unthinkable and jumps off the stage and wanders into the crowd (there were two distinct moments where I was looking around the room, hearing him singing, but not being able to fucking find him ) to sing with people and mack on the ladies, moreso the latter. And considering half the crowd was my age, you'd think the pedobear was in action. Even moreso to my surprise, some of the girls actually went along with it. Ah drunk college sluts!

High points for me: DOA, Somebody Get Me A Doctor, Atomic Punk, and Jump (believe it or not).

Flaws: Romeo Delight wasn't quite fast enough (dammit, that song is supposed to be a speed metal serial killer), I'll Wait , and some of the "Dave moments" lasted a bit too long.

But I'd recommend it. The band themselves are called Fair Warning. I'd say they're just as good as the Led Zeppelin tribute band I see consistently.

On Fire is the perfect choice for an opening song

Definitely. I think Hot For Teacher (northern California's premier Van halen tribute band ) opened with it when I saw them.
