I echo Mankvill's comment. Also, I saw them, and they were definitely no Bolt Thrower. They were tight, as usual, but they were nowhere near a headliner for a festival such as this. Bolt Thrower completely brought down the fucking house - it was goddamn legendary.

...and by the way, this is 100% correct. Whoever got this setlist is either a lucky bastard (because I was at the rail about sixty seconds after the set ended, and there were none to be had ), or is a big BT fan with a great memory. Either way, nicely done to whoever got this.

I got a few videos, which I will post to YouTube if they turn out to be any good. I tried to use my camcorder for this, but a British bloke came out of the crowd and c-blocked me halfway into the first song. The videos I got, I had to get with my crappy little point-and-shoot camera (recorded directly to flash memory, shaky video and crappy audio)...but hey, at least I was able to confirm the set list and get a few momentos of one of the most awesome sets I've seen in a long, long time.

This set list is essentially correct (I got video of the entire set, and also a photo of the set list from a fellow fan).

I only have three minor clarifications:

(1) The third track you listed is called "Naked Trees" (from the album "Prowler in the Yard").
(2) Before playing "Cheerleader Corpses", they played the track "Jennifer", which is really a sample - but it is noteworthy as a separate track because it is a separate track on the album, and also because the crowd always has such a huge reaction to it.
(3) You forgot to state explicitly that Pig Destroyer FUCKING RULES. This is required each time you mention Pig Destroyer in print. I'm serious. It's a law.

awesome. I'd take two Bolt Thrower shows over one BT and one Pestilence, mostly because apparently Pestilence plays like one song from each old album and then some new shit. I haven't heard the new songs, but I've heard that they aren't very good.

and I agree that Atheist, while a good band, should most definitely not headline above Bolt Thrower. Bolt Thrower is the best band from the entire lineup with the exception of Ghoul.

Amazing festival. Only a few lousy bands and no-shows (Marduk and Pestilence), incredible atmosphere, none of the performances disappointed; great stuff.
