Did it burst, or were they able to take it out first?

They took it out. I had had an attack of sorts about 2-3 months ago but they couldn't really find out what it was and it just kind of subsided. But it happened again on Sunday night, and at about 5am I went into the Emergency Room. They ran a whole bunch of tests and whatnot and decided I should just have it removed. So around 2 in the afternoon yesterday I had surgery. I stayed overnight and came home about 2 hours ago. I'm fine, but stomach and throat both hurt quite a bit.

It's a good thing it didn't burst first, the surgery on that is worse. Glad it all went ok for you
