Sad but true. I saw it again not too long ago and was amazed by how much better the CG parts were than most of what is being put out now. Even though it may just be that the textures of the dinosaurs hide what you would normally notice, they drew the line in a good spot for where to stop.

Also its funny to see how far computers have come since then when you see the door lock scene towards the end.

I'd take real sfx any day over CGI.
LOTR and a few other movies are the only times I can stomach it. I really think it ruins things, especially when it's used to do something you cold easily do with makeup etc.
