Carcass -- Cleveland, OH -- March 14th, 2009
Holy fucking shit, Carcass are an awesome live band. Also, heavy metal road trips rule. Got home at 5:30 AM because Cleveland is really far away.

Got to the show while Psycroptic were on. They were tech-death but had hardcore shouting. Not very good. Samael were actually pretty damn cool, and I think all the songs were about worshiping Satan, which was nifty. Suicide Silence are the worst band in the world and I think the label must have forced Carcass to drag them around. And to the so-called hardcore dancers: when Mr. Miyagi is not involved, I really hate karate kids.

Holy crap, when we last talked I didn't think you were seeing them Saturday! Did you get to meet Jeff and tell him how charming his British accent is?

Ha, no, it was supersaturated with metalheads in there, I couldn't have possibly met anyone. But his accent was indeed very charming.

Really? I thought three songs was plenty, honestly. I like the distribution; I even would have liked a bit more Swansong.
