Edguy -- London, England -- January 10th, 2009
Tinnitus Over Europe Tour
Venue: Islington Academy Support: Andre Matos / H.E.A.T. Stage Times: 20:25 - 22:00 Dead Or Rock Speedhoven Nine Lives Until We Rise Again The Pharoah Ministry of Saints Drums The Pride of Creation The Headless Game Save Me Superheroes -------------- Out of Control Lavatory Love Machine King of Fools I think this is right. I've no idea on the support setlists. The door staff were so slow I missed all but two songs from H.E.A.T., and Andre Matos' sound was so bad for his vocals, I've no idea what he was singing.

Bad selection, should've done Wake Up Dreaming Black, 929, or Dragonfly instead. ... jaw on floor. x100I've been bitching about the stupid predictability of their sets, mainly the ignoring of all pre-Hellfire Club non-hits, and they go and pull out these. Fuckin' A. Well played. THE PHAROAH!!!!!!!!!! ![]() ![]() Predictable. They're never going to stop playing Lavatory Love Machine so I guess I should just live with it, and at least it's fun live. Superheroes is catchy, Save Me is overly cheesy and whatnot but I confess I love it, and King of Fools is a solid song but a bad closer. Classic song, glad to see it return. I could nit-pick and find further criticisms, but the bottom line is that if they do this set list in North America in the fall, I will be fucking thriled. |

I looked on the Edguy forum, one guy posted something, but it's out of order and he says there was a song or two he was unsure about.
But he is sure on Angra's "Nothing to Say" and "Carry On", as well as the tracks of Matos' "Time to Be Free" album: "Letting Go", "Rio", and "How Long". He also says Matos performed Journey's "Separate Ways". |

Could be better, but I like it.
