Besides Frantic, that's a damn good set, definitely one of the best in recent years.

Hell yes, BLACKENED. Now all they need to add is FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE.

I actually really like this set, it feels so different from a normal Metallica set.

I'm glad I didn't spend $100+ on a ticket now, because it comes out to 10 bucks each good song.
But they did pick some damn good ones...

It's not like this exactly we'll see here in Oakland though... Metallica changes it up with a pseudo structured framework.

I don't really know how to feel about this set list. It's good but bad. My main concern is them playing Frantic in addition to that large amount off of Death Magnetic. We get it, you're happy about your new album and how it's not St. Anger part 2, but either extend your set or cut some of the new songs out. I just bought a $70 ticket to see them in January and if this is what I end up seeing I will be anything but pleased.
