Where There's A Whip, There's A Way 07. House Of Pain 08. Porn Star 09. Bathroom Wall 10. Shut Up And Fuck 11. Babylon Overall it was an okay show. Was so burned out from going out the 3 nights prior I was going to skip this until I found out some friends were going so I could at least get a ride home and have someone to hang out with. Thankfully it wasn't too crowded so I could find some wall to lean up against. Not much of a Bang Tango fan, what I saw was okay. They were just sorta there and based upon prior experience with bands third on the bill at the Key Club, it could have been a lot worse. Saw about 35 mins which was all they really should have played anyway with a slot like that. L.A. Guns was good though it seemed to drag on a bit too long. Having a teenage son to will his half of the name to, Tracii Guns has ensured we will get to enjoy some version of L.A. Guns for at least another half century. Nice version of YCAGWYW, including the solo. Knew it was in the setlist and was glad it wasn't an attempt at a straight album version reading. When I heard the Hells Bells riff however, I was afraid Marty was going to attempt to sing it but thankfully it was just an intro to Never Enough. They played an okay new song which is already on You Tube, If the new material is pretty solid, they shouldn't doom it by releasing it under the L.A. Guns name where the only attention it would get would be in the form of ridicule. Faster Pussycat was good but in a dry and sterile sort of way. As in everyone did their job well, just no real rock vibe to it and nowhere near the quality of the 2001/2002 shows. Since they went on so late and I was so tired, I won;t be complaining that they only did 11 songs. |
