Mayhem Festival -- Toronto, ON, Canada -- August 8th, 2008

Only managed to see 4 bands - Airbourne, Machine Head, Disturbed, and Slipknot -- due to the stage setups, misunderstandings, and work. I'm also not that familiar with Airbourne, so I don't have their setlist.

The other 3 were as follows:

MachineHead only 5 songs?

Slipknot setlist is terrible!!

Machine Head had 35 minutes, and considering Halo and Clenching are both around 10 minutes, it's not that surprising that they only played 5 songs. They still put on a great show.

They only had an hour on stage and its their first tour in close to 3 years, so of course they're going to be playing mostly hits and fan favourites. In fact I was quite surprised when I found out they were playing Prosthetics and not playing wait and bleed.

At my Mayhem date, I saw Machine Head, then wandered off with my brother while all my friends stayed to watch the main stage.

Turns out seeing tits beats seeing Slipknot.

Why have the damn intro as Danger Keep Away? and why open with Surfacing?
When I saw them on the Subliminal Verses tour, Surfacing was the encore and they opened with The Blister Exists. That was a good setlist. I have it here still if you want me to post it, just ask me.

It was kind of like a mistake that Iron Maiden did on the Matter of Life and Death tour. They played that whole album, which was very unessecary.
Dont get me wrong, it was a great album, their best since Bruce's Return, but they didnt need to play that whole thing.
