Oh HELL yes. Fuck yes. Great fucking read. In terms of the albums you wrote about which I've heard, eh maybe I agree with a little less than half of your assessments (The Hidden Hand album is really not that bad, damn son). But you're a damn good writer and reading that was tight.

Baizley's artwork for Beyond The Permafrost was cooler than Red Album I think, but good call on that one too.

House of God ranks as one of my favorite KD albums, you guys care to let me in on what makes VooDoo so great

Seriously though how badass is that Isak riff? I've been trying to learn it ever since I first heard it, it's really tough cuz though I think they harmonize that part. The guitar work on that album is bitchin, can't wait 'till they develop better as songwriters then they'll really be something special

That's what I'm saying! Their potential is so tantalizing.

I'm not even sure that's my favorite riff on that album, let alone of the year period. It's a good riff but they've done better.

They definitely took an unexpected push into a little too much Mastodon-worship for my liking with Red Album, and I really had higher hopes going off how awesome their first two EPs are, but Red Album is still good and they will only go up from here I'm sure.

Well at least I could figure out that one on guitar That album has tons of smokin' riffs though, Assasins Of The Light is another fun one to play

But the post-metal of the intros of "Rays on Pinion" and "Wailing Wintry Wind" excites me too. Isis worship + Mastodon worship= good always.

Yeah, I'd have to say I prefer that one. But every damn song has like two worthwhile riffs
