I agree with your statement, but Ghost Opera is a really weak Kamelot album.

Not true. The only bands that I have not heard on your list are Baroness and Explosions in the Sky. I will admit that I have not listened to entire albums by the other bands, but that is only because I could not make it through an entire album by those bands.

Ghost Opera is actually the song that got me into Kamelot and I think it is an excellent album.

So, in your own words, how would you describe Pig Destroyer?

The same way I would describe all of the barnyard bands:

I don't think it's bad, but after that streak of 3 or 4 amazing albums, I think it comes off as a signifigant dissapointment. But I feel that that's more or less the motif of this entire year for me.

I really can't believe you don't like Witchcraft, but to each his own.

Kinda sucks having metal-archives down to those still coming up with lists, eh?

70's Sabbath riffs with 70's production and a bad Swedish singer....what's not to like? Throw in the occasional flute passage and plenty of LSD and you've got a winning combination, right?

By the way, you know I'm just busting your chops, so don't take it personally. I am sure that I listen to a lot of things that you (and everyone else on this board) would hate.

Show me another band who does old-school as well as Witchcraft though. You've accurately described them, but they nail that style.

And yeah, I know you listen to lots of crappy music too.
