MetalSetlists Top Ten Albums of 2007: Voting Thread
Ah, why the hell not. Your lists aren't due until January 14th at which point the final tally will occur, but I know some people are fairly confident of their lists right now and I'm bored enough to do this.
Rules: Any studio album (including EPs, demos, splits, covers albums, those Sodom and Destruction albums where they played old songs over again in the studio) officially released in 2007 in either Europe or the States is eligible. It should go without saying, but there's no nonsensical "metal only" rule. Let's be proud of our diversity. #1 gets 10 points, #2 gets 9 points, etc. If you heard less than ten albums (which I'm not sure this even applies to anyone here since the only people who that normally would apply to heard zero albums this year), your #1 is only worth as many points as the total number of albums you ranked. Running totals may or may not be posted at my discretion. Have fun, and don't fucking let Megadeth or Iced Earth on our site list!

Baroness- Red Album 7. Explosions in the Sky- All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone 8. Redemption- The Origins of Ruin 9. Coheed And Cambria- Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume 2: No World for Tomorrow 10. Blackfield- Blackfield II Let the games begin.

Yeah, I didn't really dig too deep this year to find the really obscure stuff. And when I did, I wasn't too impressed. So I'm sticking with this.
