Hell...

is here!

Storm the beaches, burn the jungle. Clear the way for freedom’s path.
Blood soaked and tear stained – the price of this “better way”
The names may change, but the story’s the same: brother vs. brother; man killing man.
Grandfather, father, and son now dead together, back as one.

Is this history of suffering mankind’s destiny?
Is there some bright future or the simple truth… (Hell is here.)

Out on the frontlines, down in the field, patriots fight for their broken ideals while
Generals feast on the bones of the dead then slumber safely in their comfortable beds
Nuclear weapons and nuclear dreams; when the button’s pushed no nuclear being
Wives without husbands, children lay dead. Collateral damage, it’s just too bad.

Is this history of suffering mankind’s destiny?
Is there some bright future or the simple truth… (Hell is here.)

[Instrumental]

Hell is here!

Bombs strapped, upon a vest. One hundred dead in a flash.
Retaliate: Blood for blood! Don't stop 'till the ocean's red.
Follow your orders, follow your god. Whatever it takes to "do the job"
Dig your grave man, dig your grave.
When it comes to this curse we’re all to blame.

Is this history of suffering mankind’s destiny?
Is there some bright future or the simple truth… (Hell is here.)

We’re all to blame.

We’re all to blame.

We’re all to blame.

We’re all to blame.

Comments

Yeah, it's that time again... throwin' you our latest crap We decided to finally record this song. The middle part has changed again, and it's not done. We'll probably add in some other instruments, or solos, or whatever. The marching on that part is just for texture while we figure out what to do there.

Thoughts?

I'm very disappointed that this is not a "From Here To Eternity" thread

By the way, ECW, don't call it a "Sinstrumental", that's cornier than Manowar.

We don't normally... that's just what we write on the lyrics sheets

Yes, this is the kinda shit I like I'd slow down the tempo throughout the song even more (well, up to where that kinda melodic riff comes it sounds good at a slightly punchier pace and then the "Hell is here" break part), right now you have it kinda mid tempo pace, but making it really doomy would be killer Still its fucking cool stuff.

Glad you liked it

Hmm, I hear you. If you listen to the one from a year ago it is a lot slower and doomier, at least in the beginning. I was kinda thinkin' the same thing (that parts could stand to be slower) so we'll definitely have to give it a shot hehe.

Oh yea, I couldn't hear your playing at all during the fast part, unless you were doing the Maiden gallop.
