Several bands have already covered most of those songs. Does that really matter?

not really. my point was that a (much heavier) metal band already covered it so why bother. that and I don't like that song.

Meh, that's a pretty lousy reason not to do a cover. Besides, I don't think QR is necessarily going for "heavy" on this disc.
