I just wish Slayer's set was longer. Co-headlining my ass. Hopefully they'll shake it up this tour, and not play the same thing every night like their last two tours. In my opinion, if they just replaced Threshold and Payback with say...Bitter Peace and Killing Fields I'd be a lot happier. As for Manson, man, that's a terrible set. Two songs from AS and 1 from Portrait? Too much new shit. Where's Tourniquet? Man That You Fear? Cake and Sodomy? Dope Hat? Whatever, I'm sure it'll still be a fun show.

I would replace Mandatory Suicide by Dead Skin Mask

replace all the CI songs except Cult by 213, Postmortem and Hell Awaits, that would be my set :up:

Threshold seems like an odd choice. I'd replace it with New Faith and replace most all the CI songs with maybe with some Hell Awaits and DIM material.

no matter the setlist I'll be there. it'll be my 15th time since 87' to see them.

I'll have to disagree with the majority of you. That was a kick ass set list! Plus, ending with Angel of Death was perfect. I didn't get that song last time I saw them.

I hope that the Chicago show is this good! I'll post that show afterwards.

I'm a huge Slayer fan but I think that Christ Illusion is a crap album filled with rehashed riffs, lyrics and song structures. I'm sure to newer Slayer fans it sounds new and fresh, but to me it just sounds stale. Sorry to say, but Slayer have run out of ideas. I'd rather hear most any of their other older material in concert.

don't get me wrong, I'll be there every single time they play Dallas. haven't missed a tour of their's in 20 years.
