Didn't get Big Business' set, but they were pretty good.


Tool were fucking incredible. Right in Two and 10,000 Days were downright transcendental. Schism and Lateralus were jawdropping, but made me lament the lack of more Lateralus songs even more. The whole show the band was tight as a drum. Danny Carey is easily the best live drummer I've ever seen (till I see Rush in September ), and Maynard sings just as well live as he does on record, which is rare. Fucking awesome show.

But someone tell Tool that $38 is too much for a goddamn t-shirt.

I didnt really want to go because I didnt think they would focus so heavily on 10,000 Days, which is the only album of theirs I have (and like)....Guess I was wrong

They did have one of the coolest stage pieces I've ever seen. Two giant eyes (purple and green of course) made of lightbulbs rose up, and then a giant third eye came down from the ceiling. Then they shot lasers.

Damn that stage set you described sounds killer, sounds like they have changed it from before. Glad you really liked the show
