Guitartabs.com Suspends Over Legal Threats

I don't frequent guitartabs.com but it's really unfortunate that both the National Music Publishers Association and The Music Publishers Association of America want this guy shut down. The owner of the site has published the letter he received from their counsel in New York. Guitartabs is probably screwed because they probably are infringing according to the letter of the law. Despite that, I think sites like these largely respect the ethos of the music community in the sharing of amateur transcriptions.
