For me Rush are very much related to middle school nostalgia for me, so I especially can connect an album like 2112 to that. Since that album was bigtime as my personal crossroads in musical taste as I started getting into proggier, more "obscure" stuff, it had a big effect on me, its just got that special selective appeal that I can relate to on a personal level that other people might not get. Anybody can understand the greatest of the title track or "A Passage To Bangkok", but the other songs for me all just associate with something else, as does the album as a whole. I think for a lot of people that's how music becomes important to them, and its not like a conscious decision, it was just there at that time. I maintain that musically all the way around it is brilliant, and I'm glad most agrere cuz 2112 is in a lot of lists in the top 3 or so. Anyways that's the schpiel, Rush owns

The songs sound much better live from that album (Dreamline, Bravado, Roll The Bones).

Every single time I read the title I read it as "Snakes and arrows on a plane"

Sorry.

I finally did, but because I borrowed it from a friend. I want to say it's the worst movie I've ever seen, but I think that honor belongs to Battlefield Earth.

You obviously didn't see "The Good Shepherd." Now THAT movie sucked.

I strongly disagree. You got what you payed for... a bunch of snakes on a plane biting people. If you expected anything more, that was your problem
