Best decade for music

Generic, but I've really never asked. I'd have to say the seventies due to the fact that a lot of pre-metal forms of rock were in full swing (prog, southern, blues), and that some extremely important metal acts were releasing their best work (Sabbath, Priest)

Y'all?

Tough, but I'll have to go with the 90's. Even the stuff on the radio was great.
