That said, um, so she's not paying the headlining bands. Well no shit, she's not charging ticket prices either. The bands will be making money the same way she is... merchandise. So in that respect, I don't really have any problem with what she is doing.

I'm just waiting for the fine print like you are...even though I don't care...

See what happens when classes get cancelled, for no reason (i.e. the weather is not that fucking bad)? Personally, I think you midwesterns are overreacting. I've had to walk to doctor's appointments in conditions worse than this.

Haha, well, my classes aren't cancelled. And I have to walk all over campus because this semester it's my friend's turn to drive and I don't really see her during the day. The cold doesn't really bother me, but from what I hear, at our local school the busses aren't even starting (my friend's mom is a driver.)

Well, I suppose if its free then that gives the opportunity to just walk in, check out a good band, and then leave. They'll have at least a couple bands worth watching for free (BLS for instance).

Alice in Chains are in the talks....and I think it would be worth the car ride to go to a free concert to see them, Ozzy, and BLS..plus who ever else plays.
