Hmmmm, I've heard a lot of people did not like the singer on Forged By Fire. I've also heard that the Between Heaven and Hell album has some amazingly good guitar solos. I'm sure to get Allegiance but would also like to get another and I'm not so sure which to go with.

Well, I've no problem with the singer on Forged By Fire, and Im usually relatively picky when it comes to singers... I'd say your best bet is to check some stuff out online from each and then go with what you like.
